Just
a five minute drive from Caerleon is The White Hart Village Inn,
a charming Country Pub situated in the pretty village of
Llangybi.
In the beautiful Usk Vale a warm welcome awaits
at this picturesque, lovingly restored historic inn. During winter
an open fire and log burning stove add to an already warm welcoming
atmosphere. Here, relax and unwind with peaceful, cosy surroundings,
wonderful food and good company.
The White Hart is a beautiful historic building that after a period
of extensive renovation and restorative works re-opened in April
2007 under the new ownership and management of The
Pell Family.

venue with real character, its rich history has seen it at one time
under the ownership of Henry VIII as part of Jane Seymour's wedding
dowry; a century later serving as Oliver Cromwell's headquarters
in Gwent while latterly featuring in the T.S. Eliot poem 'Usk'.
