vanilla panacotta
   

Ingredients

  • Scrapings from the inside of 2 Vanilla Pods
  • ½ Litre of Milk
  • ½ Litre of Whipping Cream
  • 8oz of Caster Sugar
  • 4 Gelatine Leaves


To Create

  • Pour the Milk and Cream into a pan and bring to the boil, then keep on a steady simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Take off the heat and then add the sugar and Vanilla Pod scrapings.
  • Next, completely cover the 4 Gelatine Leaves in cold water, when they have reached a 'Jelly-like' consistency remove them from the water and squeeze them out.
  • Next add them to the now cooling down mixture and stir in slowly.
  • Finally pour the mix into Ramekins and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours
  • Eat & Enjoy!
